| Guest (2007-12-27 @ 09:40) : Certainly, the best authentic Greek food in the city. Amazing calamari and village greek salad. The roast lamb is to die for as well as the homemade cheesecake. The ambience is cozy and the service is great. It's our favourite place to have thick and cheesy pizza. |
| Guest (2010-07-05 @ 12:02) : Spiros pizza is our absolute favourite Greek restaurant.The food is as authentic as in Greece, the atmosphere cozy and unhurried and the staff friendly and inviting.The kalamari is voted best in Calgary as well as the roast lamb.The pizza is triple thick and our kids love all the cheese piled on as well as the staff who always cater to them. Spiros pizza is an institution which just gets better with time. There is no finer family Greek restaurant than Spiros...hands down. |

The nose pleasing aromas of authentic Greek food is just the beginning and then as we are greeted by the family, there is a warm and inviting sensation that makes us feel that we are at home. Children at this restaurant get as much attention as adults and many times you will see the owner's daughters carrying and playing with kids while their parents enjoy some "us" time. It is quite a phenomenon like no other seen by my wife or myself in any other restaurant that we have been at. It is for this reason and the obvious quality of their food that makes Spiros Pizza # 1 in Calgary. |
